The California NEMO partnership was formed by local, state, and
national agencies to develop a local educational program linking land
use to water quality. CA NEMO wants to work with local communities
to develop the tools necessary to protect natural resources and community
character. The intent is to keep California’s land use decision
makers updated on nonpoint source (NPS) pollution related issues.
Natural resource based planning is introduced as a framework for dealing
with land use issues. |
